SMS / RCS / TEXT MESSAGING TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Program Name & Description

Security Engineers, Inc. (“SEI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Security Engineers SMS Messaging Program (the “Program”). By opting in to this Program, you consent to receive text messages from Security Engineers, Inc. related to the following: 

• • • • Service & Operational Alerts: Shift schedules, post assignment updates, officer deployment confirmations, and site-specific notifications. 
      • Account & Billing Notifications: Invoice reminders, billing updates, contract renewal notices, and account status alerts. 

• • • • Emergency & Safety Communications: Urgent security incident notifications, weather or safety alerts, and emergency response coordination messages. 

• • • • Customer Service Follow-Ups: Responses to inquiries, service confirmations, and quality assurance check-ins. 

• • • • Promotional & Marketing Offers: Periodic messages about new services, special pricing, or company announcements for clients who have opted in to marketing communications. 

Messages are triggered by account activity, service events, or user-initiated inquiries related to your security services agreement with Security Engineers, Inc. 

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity, service events, and the types of communications you have opted in to receive. You may receive multiple messages per week during active service periods. Transactional and emergency messages are triggered by specific events and are not sent on a fixed schedule. 

3. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard SMS and data rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply to messages you send and receive. Security Engineers, Inc. does not charge a fee for participation in this Program. 

4. How to Opt Out (Unsubscribe) 

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Security Engineers, Inc. at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After texting STOP, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe. 

To stop receiving only marketing/promotional messages, reply STOP PROMO. Operational and service-critical messages may continue unless you reply STOP to all messages.

6. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Information collected in connection with this messaging program is governed by the Security Engineers, Inc. Privacy Policy, available at:

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your mobile phone number or messaging consent to third parties, affiliates, or marketing partners for their own use. Opt-in data and consent are collected directly from our clients and contacts and are not transferred to any third party. 

7. Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to network availability and the policies of your mobile carrier. Security Engineers, Inc. is not responsible for any delays or failures in message delivery caused by carrier network issues. 

8. Number Deactivation & Changes

If you change your mobile phone number, please update your contact preferences by contacting our customer support team at 205.251.0566 or [email protected] so that we may update our records accordingly. You are not held liable for messages delivered to a previously held mobile number following a number change. 

9. Eligibility

The Security Engineers SMS Messaging Program is intended for current and prospective clients, authorized personnel, and individuals with an established relationship with Security Engineers, Inc. Participants must be 18 years of age or older and located in the United States. By opting in, you represent that you are the authorized user of the mobile number provided. 

10. Modifications to These Terms

Security Engineers, Inc. reserves the right to modify these SMS Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or posted to our website at securityengineersinc.com. Continued participation in the Program following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. 

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Jefferson County, Alabama.
