Security Engineers (dba SEI, Inc.) opened the District Office in the New Orleans area not long after Katrina in 2005 by answering the call from several clients who needed our help in the storm ravaged area. With the dangers that Katrina brought, many businesses realized that security guards in New Orleans were not a luxury but a must. For a time, the need for private security was over whelming. New Orleans businesses’ were looted and robbed, and it became very dangerous. 

After some time, the citizens of New Orleans decided that they had enough and decided to take their city back. New Orleans rebuilt their city in one of the greatest turnarounds in US history.  By this time, Security Engineers had decided to stay, establishing a fully functioning operation center as of December 2005.
